DULUTH - Authorities found a fugitive from Michigan hiding out at a relative's apartment in Duluth on Friday, an official said.
Members of the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department fugitive unit tracked Joseph Michael Moore, 30, to an apartment on Magnolia Point Boulevard, where he was arrested Friday morning. The Michigan native is wanted on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of firearm possession by a convicted felon, an official said. Moore allegedly assaulted a couple with a shotgun in Saginaw, Mich., in June, said Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Stacey Bourbonnais. Officials with the Saginaw Police Department were unable to provide a police report Friday detailing the alleged attack.More like this story
