DULUTH - Police have identified the person killed in the parking lot of a Bahama Breeze restaurant Saturday as a 40-year-old man from Decatur.
Police said Anthony Eric Livsey was with another man in a vehicle when someone opened fire on them just before 8 p.m. at the Duluth restaurant. Livsey died at the scene. The other victim, who was not identified, ran from the car after he was shot and collapsed at the restaurant's entrance, police said. He remains in critical condition at an area hospital that police did not identify for his protection. "The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting is unknown and still under investigation," said Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana Spellman. Spellman said investigators are still working with witnesses to develop a description of the shooter or shooters. Jail records show Livsey has no criminal record in either Gwinnett or DeKalb, where he lived. Police urge anyone with information about the shootings to call the Gwinnett police homicide unit at 770-513-5300.More like this story
