Man tries to help, but gets shot at
DACULA - A man trying to help his wounded neighbor got caught up in the drama when a vehicle drove by his house and an occupant opened fire for apparently harboring the individual. According to a police report, the man was in his basement when a neighbor walked in - bloodied and beaten - and said he had been jumped. The man told the neighbor to go home and wash his wounds. The neighbor, however, said he couldn't leave and stayed at the man's house. At some point, three vehicles drove by the residence and a single shot was fired from the caravan. The round went through a basement window and lodged in a wall. The man immediately left his house with his brother and the wounded neighbor. Four gunmen rob man, hit him in head NORCROSS - A man was allegedly robbed and assaulted by four men armed with a machine gun and a pistol. The man told police he was standing outside his Victory Trail apartment unit when four black men in their early 20s wearing all black approached him with a submachine gun and a pistol and demanded his wallet. During the robbery, the man was struck on the head with the butt of the submachine gun. The suspects fled on foot toward the entrance of the complex, according to a police report. The man was transported to Grady Hospital where he received stitches for his head wound, the report said.More like this story
