Man tries to help, but gets shot at
DACULA - A man trying to help his wounded neighbor got caught up in the drama when a vehicle drove by his house and an occupant opened fire for apparently harboring the individual.
According to a police report, the man was in his basement when a neighbor walked in - bloodied and beaten - and said he had been jumped. The man told the neighbor to go home and wash his wounds. The neighbor, however, said he couldn't leave and stayed at the man's house. At some point, three vehicles drove by the residence and a single shot was fired from the caravan. The round went through a basement window and lodged in a wall. The man immediately left his house with his brother and the wounded neighbor.
