Mr. Joel Samples, age 63, of Snellville, GA passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Hubert and Louise Boss Samples; brothers, Jaril Samples and Douglas Samples; and sisters, Joyce Samples and Eloise Crowe. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Elena Rios Samples, Snellville, GA; sisters and Brothers-in-law: Shelby and Larry Suggs, Dacula, GA; Janice and Douglas Price, Snellville, GA; Juwan and Don Mayo, Dacula, GA; sisters-in-law: Faye Samples, Suwanee, GA; Marie Higgins Allen, Suwanee, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Samples was born January 10, 1945 in Gwinnett County, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He attended First Baptist Church of Snellville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Bedingfield and Rev. Victor Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA with military honors. Arrangements by: Junior E.
