Demolition crews begin to take down a home in the Essex Square subdivision on Monday afternoon to make way for a shopping center. Officials with the group said it will take about two months to level all 26 of the homes. The subdivision, located next to The Avenue Webb Gin on Ga. Highway 124, will become the home of the Webb Gin Crossing development. Residents in the former subdivision left their homes in December, after selling them to the Stategic Realty Group for more than $11 million.More like this story
