Leyna Nicole Scarberry and Kevin Clark Vaughter were married Oct. 20 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Brian Pilsbury officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Teresa Scarberry of Lawrenceville. She is a graduate of Collins Hill High School and Gwinnett Technical College. She is employed as a dental assistant.
The groom is the son of Alan and Beth Vaughter of Elberton. He is a graduate of Elberton County Comprehensive High School. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He is employed by Zurich Marine Insurance.
Lauren Scarberry of Lawrenceville, sister of the bride, served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brittney Rouse of Atlanta, Angie Arrowood of Sugar Hill and Jill Raulerson of Oakwood.
John Vaughter of Athens, cousin of the groom, served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Adam Raulerson of Oakwood, Paul Suttles of Athens and Emery Head of Comer.
After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
