NORCROSS - The driver of a vehicle that overturned in a crash Saturday evening was seriously injured when the motorist's legs went through the windshield and were pinned under the hood of the car, authorities said.
The single-vehicle accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Jimmy Carter Boulevard near Club Parkway. Firefighters had to extricate the motorist, who was transported to Atlanta Medical Center, said Capt. Thomas Rutledge, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Fire Department. The passenger of the vehicle was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center with minor injuries, Rutledge said. No further information was available Saturday night.More like this story
