SUWANEE - An assistant principal at North Gwinnett High School will replace Duluth High School's retiring principal this summer.
The Gwinnett County Board of Education on Thursday approved the appointment of Jason Lane as the principal of Duluth High. Pat Blenke is retiring at the end of the school year. Lane, who has also served as an assistant principal at Brookwood High School, is a 2007 graduate of the Quality-Plus Leader Academy, the school district's training program for aspiring principals. Lane has a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University and a master's degree from Augusta State University. Before he came to Gwinnett County, he taught at Hephzibah Comprehensive High School in Augusta and Crawford County High School in Roberta.More like this story
