Fred H.G. Odom, age 77, of Stone Mountain, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Annette Wilson Odom; children, Patricia Odom of Stone Mountain, Janice (Mark) Herzer and Larry (Lynn) Jenkins, all of Loganville; grandchildren, Kimberly Thoma, Joshua Odom and Bridget Herzer Goins; Sister, Elizabeth Carol (David Robert) Helf; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Beverly Dupree, sisters, Marie Morris, Claudia Louise Brown, Jeanette Holmes, and brothers, C.W. Odom and Carl Odom. Mr. Odom, a District Sales Manager with Golden Flake Foods, retired in 1996 after 40 years of service. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 3 PM, at Horis A. Ward, Stone Mountain Chapel with Craig Helf officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday for one hour prior to the service.
