Dennis and Deborah Slough of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Charlotte Slough of Lawrenceville, to Matthew Brian Jennings of Lawrenceville, son of Terry and Ginger Jennings of Lawrenceville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Henry Slough and the late Doris Dixon Slough, and Mr. and Mrs. James and Charlotte Crossan, all of Virginia. She is a 2003 graduate of Collins Hill High School and Brenau University, where she received a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. N.U. Turpin of White County and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Volosen. He is a 2003 graduate of Collins Hill High School. He is employed by Great Harvest Bread Co. in Duluth as a manager and baker. The wedding is planned for May 31 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.More like this story
