Judge sides with Michael Jordan against woman
PITTSBURGH - A woman must abide by a previous restraining order to avoid contact with former NBA star Michael Jordan and stop using litigation regarding the order to claim he fathered her child. Crawford County Judge Gordon Miller issued the ruling Thursday in response to motions filed this month by Lisa Miceli, 35, of Meadville, Pa., who was acting as her own attorney. Vanilla Ice released from Fla. jail WELLINGTON, Fla. - Vanilla Ice was released from jail Friday following his arrest on a charge of simple battery for allegedly pushing his wife. The 39-year-old rap performer was arrested Thursday night at the couple's Wellington home in South Florida. Police said his wife called 911, saying he had kicked and hit her during an argument over buying a bedroom set. She later told deputies he had only pushed her. Elisabeth Rohm, fiance welcome a baby girl NEW YORK - Elisabeth Rohm of 'Law & Order' fame is a mom for the first time. The 34-year-old actress and her fiance, entrepreneur Ron Wooster, welcomed a baby girl named Easton August Anthony in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, Rohm's publicist Tina Malhotra told The Associated Press on Friday. Beastie Boy Adam Yauch makes basketball documentary NEW YORK - Some of college basketball's brightest stars, including Kansas State's Michael Beasley and UCLA's Kevin Love, are featured in Beastie Boy Adam Yauch's new documentary, 'Gunnin' for That No. 1 Spot.' Yauch took his camera to Harlem's famed Rucker Park, made famous by streetballers, in September 2006 to document some of the nation's top high school talent, who were playing in an event there. Yauch, 43, said the documentary, which premieres April 28 at the Tribeca Film Festival, doesn't make a judgment on the world where the precocious teens lived, but does give viewers a glimpse into it.More like this story
