Toni Braxton hospitalized in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - A hotel official says Toni Braxton has been hospitalized in Las Vegas.

Flamingo Hotel-Casino spokeswoman Deanna Pettit says the 40-year-old singer has an undisclosed ailment that isn't life-threatening. Braxton was taken to a hospital Monday night. Pettit says she expects Braxton to be released Tuesday afternoon.

Pettit says she doesn't know the nature of Braxton's ailment or where she was when she became ill.

Eminem's mom sued over profits from new book

PONTIAC, Mich. - Eminem's mother has been sued by a man who alleges he helped her with a book about the Detroit rapper but was cut out of the profits.

Neal Alpert claims in an Oakland County Circuit Court lawsuit filed Monday that Debbie Nelson developed the book while she was under contract with him.

The lawsuit alleges they entered into a contract in 2005 in which he would be her agent and receive 25 percent of the gross profits.

Priest charged in O'Brien stalking pleads guilty

NEW YORK - The Roman Catholic priest accused of stalking NBC talk-show host Conan O'Brien has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

The Rev. David Ajemian admitted to the offense - sending letters and DVDs to O'Brien's home and business.

Ajemian was arrested in New York City last year while trying to enter a taping of O'Brien's show, despite being warned to stay away by NBC security personnel.

Pete Doherty sentenced to 14 weeks in jail by London court

LONDON - Pete Doherty has been sentenced to 14 weeks in jail for violating a probation order.

His record company says the sentence handed down Tuesday by a London court means the Babyshambles frontman's planned concert at Royal Albert Hall on April 26 would be postponed.

Parlophone Records didn't say how the rocker broke his probation. But music magazine NME cited a court spokesman as saying Doherty had used different kinds of drugs, breached 'time keeping' and generally not complied with his probation.
