Gwinnett Daily Post
LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett police are seeking a man who, along with several other individuals, allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl earlier this year.
The girl told investigators she was walking on Louis Road near Killian Hill Road in January when the man pulled up next to her in a dark-colored extended cab truck and picked her up. At an unknown location, she was restrained while several males raped her, she told police. After the incident, the man drove her back to where she was initially taken, she said. Authorities released a sketch of the alleged suspect Wednesday. He is described as biracial with red-brown hair and blue eyes. The girl reported the alleged rape to police on March 6. Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Illana Spellman said it is common for sexual assault victims to wait before reporting the incident to authorities. "It sometimes takes several weeks, months, even years for them to come forward," she said. Anyone with information is urged to call investigators at 770-513-5396.More like this story
