Jill Cassidy Morris

Jillian Elizabeth (Jill Cassidy) Morris, age 26, of Walnut Grove, Missouri, formerly of Dacula, Gwinnett County, GA, died on September 19, 2007, from complications arising from post-partum depression. Jill is survived by: Husband, Dusty Morris; Two Daughters, Ryleigh Rae (2 and 1/2) and Kelsey LeeAnn (1) Morris, all of Walnut Grove, MO; Mother, Sharon Knight Cassidy of Bois D' Arc, MO; Father, Mike Cassidy of Lawrenceville, GA; 2 Brothers, Ben Cassidy and his wife, Tammy and their two children, Jake and Alayna of Winterville, GA, John Cassidy and his wife, Kelly and their two children, Logan and Reed of I LLA , GA; Maternal Grandmother, Myrtle Knight; Paternal Grandmother, Nina Cassidy, both of Lawrenceville, GA; Father & Mother-in-law, Denny and Sue Morris of Ash Grove, MO; Brother-in-law, Chad Morris of St. Louis, MO. Jill was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Carroll Knight and Rex Cassidy. Jill was born and raised in Gwinnett County and was a 1999 graduate of Dacula High School. Jill and her husband, Dusty, had a fitting, breaking and photography service that they had only started a little over a year ago and were doing extremely well in this new venture. Jill designed websites for Circle G Angus Farm, PineRidge Angus Farm and various others in her spare time with the children. She was very successful in showing Simmental and Angus cattle and even some Limousin, the breed that Dusty was working with when the two of them met. Jill and Dusty met in Louisville, KY at the North American International Livestock Exposition. They traveled over the US exhibiting cattle while Dusty was working for Jimmy Linthcum from the JCL Cattle Company in Welch, OK. He stayed with Mr. Linthcum until his goal of winning “Herdsman of the Year” was accomplished in Denver, CO. A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Jill Cassidy Morris was held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00am at the Wilson Brim-Daniel Funeral Chapel, Ash Grove, MO with Rev. Tom Geer officiating. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a Memorial Fund that has been set up for Jill's two small daughters.
