Notice is hereby given to the public that the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia will consider an amendment to the text of the 2000 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia which will delete Section 608 B. Town Center Overlay District Design Standards in its entirety and replace it with new text. This amendment establishes more specific design standards for the area designated as the Town Center Overlay District to the 2000 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sugar Hill, Georgia. A copy of the proposed amendment is available for review and copying in the office of the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Sugar Hill located in Sugar Hill City Hall at 4988 West Broad Street.

A public hearing to consider the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance will be conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Sugar Hill on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex which is adjacent to Sugar Hill City Hall located at 4988 West Broad Street. The Mayor and Council of the City of Sugar Hill will conduct a public hearing to consider the proposed amendment on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sugar Hill City Hall Annex which is adjacent to Sugar Hill City Hall located at 4988 West Broad Street. The public is encouraged and invited to attend these public hearings.
