Roger C. “Buster” Sappenfield passed away on September 24, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in June. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Sappenfield; Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Doug & Sandee Sappenfield of Charlotte, NC, Burt & Becky Sappenfield of Savannah, GA, Russell & Nancy Sappenfield of Hiram, GA, and Tom & Brenda Mitchell of Commerce, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Suzy & Boyd Edgerton of Marietta, GA, Becky & Ricky Wallace of Woodstock, GA and Teresa & Tom Wilkes of Lawrenceville, GA; 16 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Ronnie & Billie Jo Sappenfield of Woodstock, GA. Mr. Sappenfield was a semi-pro baseball and football player, a professional golfer and a business entrepreneur. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 26 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
