Andrew P. Naples and Barbara N. Naples of Marietta announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Leigh Naples of Duluth, to Jason Michael Thompson of Duluth, son of Patricia LaCross of New Alexandria, Ohio, and Jon W. Thompson of Steubenville, Ohio.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley L. Nurnberger of North Augusta, S.C., and Ralph Naples of Hubbard, Ohio. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics education. She is a 2005 graduate of Piedmont College, where she received a master's degree. She also received an education specialist degree from Piedmont College in December 2006. She is employed by Duluth High School as a math teacher. The future groom is the grandson of Lena Anderson of Steubenville, Ohio. He is a graduate of Kent State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in education. He is attending Walden University, where he is pursuing a master's degree. He is employed by St. Pius X Catholic High School as a social studies teacher and assistant football coach. The wedding is planned for May 24 at Historic Naylor Hall in Roswell.More like this story
