Melanie Mary Kay and Joshua Scott Shaw were married June 2 at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta. Dr. Donald Allen Harp Jr. officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Barbara Kay of Cumming. She is a graduate of Georgia State University. She is employed by Skanska USA as an administrative assistant.
The groom is the son of Allen and Nancy Shaw of Lawrenceville. He is a graduate of Georgia State University. He is employed by Sun Trust Bank as a financial specialist.
Kendelle Meyers of Adrian, Mich., served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kalen Sharp of Georgia, Isabel Kay of Arkansas, Lisa Kay of Michigan, Alicia Malonowski of Florida and Trisha Hanline of Georgia.
Savannah Shaw of Lawrenceville and Dominique Kay of Arkansas served as flower girls.
Vy Pham of Atlanta served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Yandle of Georgia, Brian Kay of Arkansas, David Kay of Michigan, David Haas of Georgia and Rick Burt of Georgia.
Noah Shaw of Lawrenceville served as the ring bearer.
After a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple now resides in Marietta.
