'Weeds' star adopts baby from Africa
NEW YORK - Mary-Louise Parker has adopted a baby girl from Africa, her spokeswoman confirmed to People.com.
When asked for comment Tuesday, Parker's spokeswoman, Tamar Salup, referred The Associated Press to the Web site.
Parker, 43, has a 3-year-old son, Will, with ex-boyfriend Billy Crudup.
The actress stars on Showtime's offbeat comedy 'Weeds' as a newly widowed mother of two who starts selling marijuana to maintain her family's comfortable suburban lifestyle.
Pavarotti estate split between second wife, four daughters
ROME - Luciano Pavarotti left half his estate to his second wife and half to his four daughters, including three from his first marriage, an attorney said Tuesday.
In the final months of his yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer, Pavarotti made two wills, said attorney Giorgio Bernini, who represents the singer's second wife. One dated June 13 divides up his assets according to Italian law, with half going to his wife, Nicoletta Mantovani, and half to his children.
The second, dated July 29, elaborates on the first and concerns the tenor's U.S. holdings, which he entrusted to Mantovani, Bernini said.
Sex Pistols to reunite on album anniversary
LONDON - The Sex Pistols are reuniting for a concert to mark the 30th anniversary of their only album, 'Never Mind the Bollocks.'
All four original members - John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock - will play a one-time concert at London's Brixton Academy on Nov. 8, the band announced Tuesday on the music Web site www.nme.com.
Gabor to have surgery on legs for bad infection
LOS ANGELES - Zsa Zsa Gabor, who is partially paralyzed from a 2002 car accident, was set to have surgery Tuesday for a severe infection in her legs.
The operation was scheduled at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said John Blanchette, publicist for the 90-year-old actress.
