Katherine Lynn Perkins and Richard Brian Wood II were married March 10 at the Duluth Festival Center. The Rev. Odis Lamar Hansard, grandfather of the groom, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Debbie Perkins of Lawrenceville. She is a 2003 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. She is attending Southern Union Community College in Auburn, Ala., where she is pursuing a degree in fashion and interior design. She is employed at a church preschool in Northport, Ala.
The groom is the son of Rick and Donna Wood of Buford, and Andy and Fonda Caviness of Suwanee. He is a 2000 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University, where he received a bachelor's degree in building science. He is employed by Capstone Building Corporation in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Rebecca Andrews of Lawrenceville served as the bride's maid of honor.
