Megan Ashley Bowman and Nicholas Pierce Hayes were married July 14 on the beach at St. Simons. The Rev. Wright A. Culpepper officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bowman of Lawrenceville. She is a 1999 graduate of Brookwood High School. She is a 2003 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a bachelor's degree in art. She is a 2006 graduate of Oglethorpe University, where she received a master's degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Morningside Elementary School in Atlanta.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hayes of Snellville. He is a 1998 graduate of Brookwood High School. He is a 2003 graduate of Georgia Tech, where he received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is a 2007 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., where he received a master's degree in technical management. He is pursuing a master's degree in business at Emory University. He is employed as an electrical engineer by Lockheed Martin.
Emily Dinovo of Atlanta served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Erin Bowman of Leadville, Colo., Heather Bowman of Roanoke, Texas, Kim Pollard of Atlanta and Michaela Collins of Tampa, Fla.
Ryan Murphy of Charlotte, N.C., served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Alexander Falanga of Greensboro, William Hayes of Buford, Daniel Hayes of Augusta and Michael Hayes of Atlanta.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
