LILBURN - A manager of a Lilburn sports store was charged this week with watching patrons undress, police said.
Gregory Alan Christian, 20, of 1211 Eli Lane, Lawrenceville is charged by Lilburn police with "peeping Tom," according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department. Christian was booked Tuesday at the Gwinnett County Detention Center and has since bonded out. A spokesman with the Lilburn Police Department was not available for comment Thursday. Lilburn police told a local television station Christian watched a female customer try on clothing in a dressing room at Hibbett Sports in Lilburn. He climbed a ladder and peered down on the woman through a ceiling tile, police said. The store Christian manages is located on Rockbridge Road near U.S. Highway 29. Georgia code defines peeping Tom as a "person who peeps through windows or doors ... for the purpose of spying upon or invading the privacy of persons." If convicted of the offense, Christian could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine, according to Georgia law.More like this story
