Tattoo parlor robbed for second time
BUFORD - A tattoo artist at Uncle Freddie's Tattoos in Buford said the business has been robbed for a second time this month.
According to a police report, the tattoo artist arrived at work at the shop on South Lee Street on Saturday and discovered two power supplies were missing from her tattooing station. She said a back window was open with the screen on the ground near the back of the building.
The stolen equipment was worth more than $200.
Man threatens woman with knife
NORCROSS - A man with a knife threatened the life of a cashier Saturday as he robbed the store, a police report said.
A Hispanic man with long hair approached the checkout counter at the Mi Tienda Centroamericana on Jimmy Carter Boulevard shortly before 3 p.m., asking for aspirin.
When the cashier turned her back, the man grabbed her and pulled a knife, threatening to kill her if she screamed.
The man demanded money from the register but fled before taking anything.
The cashier told police she thought the man was scared off by a customer coming into the store.
Man robbed at apartment complex
NORCROSS - A Norcross man was robbed while walking to his apartment Sunday, according to a police report.
Two black men approached him as he was walking through the Hampton Wood apartment complex on Hampton Crossing.
Armed with handguns, the robbers demanded the man's belongings and fled with his wallet, which contained nearly $2,000.
