LOGANVILLE - The Grayson Rams won 6-4 over Collins Hill on Thursday.
Ashley Berger pitched 41⁄3 innings and gave up four runs, two of which were earned. Nancy Hill (1-2) registered the win after striking out one and giving up no hits in 12⁄3 innings. Mandi Burns (1-2) pitched an inning, striking out two batters and gave up no hits to get the save for the Rams.
At the plate, Burns was 2-for-4 with a home run and a double, while Amanda Hutcheson was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Hayley Downs was 4-for-4 with three runs, Kelly Ross was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Lauren Mathis was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI for Grayson.
Catherine Palmer had two hits and a RBI, while Cat Tarvin had a two-RBI double for Collins Hill.
The Rams improve to 7-4 for the year and Collins Hill is now 8-3-1 on the year.
Brookwood 3, Central 0
SNELLVILLE - Brookwood shut out Central Gwinnett 3-0 on Thursday.
Shivani Ghodadra was 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs and Chelsea Hawkins was 1-for-3 with a double.
Alison Glisson (7-6) gave up one hit and struck out seven batters to register the win for the Broncos (10-7, 3-0).
South 3, Shiloh 1
SNELLVILLE - Mary White pitched a complete game and struck out three to help South Gwinnett beat Shiloh 3-1 on Thursday night.
Tara Hartnett was 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run and Liza Rackett went 1-for-1 with two walks, an RBI and a run for South (7-4, 1-0).
North 12, North Forsyth 3
SUWANEE - North Gwinnett beat North Forsyth 12-3 on Thursday night.
Emily Whitaker was 4-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, three runs and two RBIs for the Bulldogs. Alexis Anderson was 2-for-3 with two hits and three RBIs and Mary Beth O'Rouke was 2-for-3. Kristen Hall was 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI for North Gwinnett.
Brittany Broome got the win as the Bulldogs improved their record to 10-3-1 and 3-1 in region.
Buford 11, Holy Innocents' 1
ATLANTA - The Buford Wolves won 11-1 in five innings over Holy Innocents' on Thursday.
Melissa Higginbotham (6-0) registered the win and gave up six hits and struck out eight.
At the plate Higginbotham went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Ashley Razey went 3-for-3 with a three-run home run in the top of the first, six RBIs and three runs. Whitney Holman was 3-for-3 with three runs for the night.
Buford improves its record to 9-0-1 on the season and 3-0 in region.
Hebron 4, Towns County 0
HIAWASSEE - Victoria Sink pitched a no-hitter and struck out 15 batters to help Hebron shut down Towns County 4-0 on Thursday.
Rachael Duval went 3-for-3 with a run and two RBIs and Megan Dixon was 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs.
Hebron's record is now 7-7 for the year.
Wesleyan 16, Walker 1
ATLANTA - The Wesleyan softball team defeated Walker 15-1 on Thursday.
Parkview wins three
TUCKER - Parkview went 3-0 in matches on Thursday night.
The Panthers beat Tucker (25-20, 25-18), Berkmar (25-12, 25-15) and Cross Keys (25-9, 25-12) and improved their record to 7-2.
Abby Bachelor contributed 34 digs and Audrey Hipple had 10 kills. Melissa Housworth added eight aces, while Libby Lukens had 14 assists for Parkview.
HOSCHTON - Central Gwinnett fell to Mill Creek 14-25, 13-25 but defeated Meadowcreek 25-16, 26-24 on Thursday night.
Lindsey NeSmith finished the night with 21 assists, while Taiwo Adeshigbin totaled 13 kills. Tiffany Le had six digs and Rachel Johnson added six kills.
Central is 4-6 for the year and 1-1 in region.
Dacula wins two
ATHENS - Dacula defeated Clarke Central 25-10, 25-11 and then beat Jackson County 25-11, 25-7 on Thursday.
Christa Royster contributed six aces while Rose Corneille had 22 assists. Abbie Daniel had 11 kills while Sara Beth White had five kills.
Dacula is now 9-0 for the year and 2-0 in region.
Hebron loses two
DACULA - Hebron fell to Buford (25-21, 22-25, 14-25) and Atlanta International School (14-25, 22-25) on Thursday.
Hebron is 0-2 in region and 8-7 overall.
Jenny Conner totaled three aces and seven assists for the night, while Sarah Hedrick added nine aces.
Courtney Bishop had five kills, Jenna Falletta had five assists and Victoria Whitley contributed four kills for Hebron.
Wesleyan beats Westminster, Marist
ATLANTA - Wesleyan beat Westminster 27-25, 25-18 and Marist 25-21, 23-25, 25-20 on Thursday night.
Anne Marie Armstrong had 24 kills and 10 digs and Betsy Smith totaled 36 kills and 17 digs for Wesleyan.
Haley Collins added eight aces and ten digs and Paige Blair had 14 assists.
Wesleyan is 15-2 for the year.
SNELLVILLE - Providence beat South Gwinnett (25-15, 25-20) but fell to Peachtree Ridge (16-25, 26-24, 19-25) on Thursday.
Caroline Adams had six kills and Lindsey Meredith added five aces. Providence improves its record to 5-8 on the year.
