DULUTH - Members of the rock band The Cure announced this week they will postpone their latest tour. The group was scheduled to play Sept. 15 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center, but the show will now be held in the spring or summer of 2008.
"They said they hadn't finished their new album to the quality that they wanted, so they were going to focus on that first," said Julia Karrenbauer, marketing manager for Duluth arena. "It's not just us, though. They postponed the tour across the country." Tickets already sold will be honored when The Cure plays in Gwinnett next year, and ticket sales will continue until the new show. Customers who want refunds can return tickets at the point of sale. For more information, call the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 404-249-6400 or visit www.gwinnettcenter.com.More like this story
