Delta said it planned to pick up passengers from the inland airport at San Pedro Sula, about 90 miles southwest of Roatan Island.

1-year-old boy drowns in pool

MARIETTA - A 1-year-old boy drowned in a pool in his family's backyard.

The boy had been missing for about 10 minutes Monday when his grandfather found him face down in the pool about 4:30 p.m., Cobb County police spokeswoman Cassie Reece said.

'There was only a small amount of water in the bottom of the drained pool,' Reece said.

The grandfather was performing CPR on the boy when emergency workers arrived, Reece said. The boy was brought to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
