Mrs. Patricia Hamilton Collins, age 58, of Winder, GA, passed away September 1, 2007. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at St. Columba's Episcopal Church. Rev'd. Fr. Tripp Norris and Rev'd. Fr. Joe Greene will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Elmwood Cemetery, Georgetown, SC. Mrs. Collins was born in Georgetown, SC to the late Robert E. Hamilton and Florence Ann Cooper Hamilton, and was a member of St. Columba's Episcopal Church and Director of Support Services with Georgia Gwinnett College. Mrs. Collins is also preceded in death by husband, Herbert “Chip” Collins, who passed away on July 28, 2007, and is survived by Sons and Daughter in laws: Herbert “Bert” Collins II & Marella Collins of Dothan, AL, Robert “Bobby” & Christy Collins of Alpharetta, GA; Daughter and Son in law: Rebecca Collins McAdoo & Frank McAdoo of Woodstock, GA; 7 Grandchildren; Stepmother: Lavonne Hamilton of Manning, SC; Brothers: Robert Hamilton Jr. of Pawleys Island, SC, William B. Hamilton of Ocean Isle, NC. Family will receive friends from 6-9 PM, Tuesday September 4 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA and from 10-12 AM Thursday, September 6 at Mayer Funeral Home, 222 James St., Georgetown, SC, (843)546-4184.
