James Thomas “J.T.” Ethridge, age 78, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and hunting and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Nellie Ethridge and brothers, Roy & Ralph Ethridge. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hazel B. Ethridge; daughter and son in law, Cindy & Bill Thompson of Lawrenceville; brother, Robert Ethridge of Dacula; sisters, Grace Nichols of Dacula and Bessie Kirby of Lawrenceville; beloved grandsons, Bryan and Ben Thompson; several nieces and nephews and granddog, Rusty. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 2 o'clock at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. L. T. Everett officiating. Burial will be at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville.
