Group runs out on $71 drink tab
NORCROSS - Six men claiming to be part of a rap group reportedly skipped out without paying their drink tab at a Norcross bar Sunday. A bartender at Barnacles, 5955 Jimmy Carter Road, said the group of black men had drinks and hung out at the bar for about five hours, racking up a $71 drink tab, a police report said. The employee said the group walked out without paying. Man robbed by two women NORCROSS - A 21-year-old man was robbed by two women while staying at the Super 8 Motel on Willow Oak Trail on Sunday, a police report said. The man said when he opened his room door a black and a Hispanic woman rushed into the room. He said the black woman showed him a gun tucked in the waistband of her pants while the other woman searched his pockets for his wallet. The women asked the man for cocaine before taking $200 from his wallet and fleeing in a green Ford Explorer. The man told the pair he did not have any drugs. Family finds bullet holes in bedroom LAWRENCEVILLE - After investigating what they thought was a ceiling fan falling, a Lawrenceville family discovered bullet holes in an upstairs bedroom. According to a police report, the residents heard a loud noise coming from the upper level of their home on Bridlepath Drive and then found a bullet had been fired through a bedroom wall and into a nearby bathroom wall and door. The family made no indication to police as to how the incident could have occurred.More like this story
