David Madison Dailey, Sr., age 72, Snellville, GA passed away on October 16, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Richie Dailey of Snellville, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, David, Jr. & Nancy Dailey of Loganville, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Dailey & Jonathan David Dailey both of Loganville; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Diane & Charles Kolar of St. Louis, MO; Several Nieces & Nephews. David was a graduate of Oklahoma A&M earning a BS in Forestry in 1957. After graduation he began a career with the U.S. Forest Service in Florida. He was later transferred to Lufkin, TX where he met and married Richie Burks in 1962. David's career with the USFS spanned more than 42 years including service in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and New Mexico. He retired in January, 1998 in Atlanta, GA. David served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Lilburn. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Tom M. Wages Chapel in Snellville. Interment at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct 18, from 2PM to 4PM & 6PM to 8PM.
