' What: Lilburn Daze fall festival
' When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
' Where: The event will be held at Lilburn City Park, 76 Main St., Lilburn.
' What's in it for adults: More than 200 booths will be set up at this year's festival, and shoppers won't want to miss the wide spectrum of arts and crafts vendors. Stained glass, painted gourds and metal art are just a few of the offerings attendees will find.
A medley of food concessions, ranging from cotton candy to gyros, will please even the pickiest eaters. Free health screenings will also be offered at this year's Lilburn Daze.
' What's in it for kids: The children's area offers various kid-friendly activities, such as pony rides and a moonwalk.
' Don't miss: A full day of live entertainment is planned for the Lilburn Daze stage. The day's lineup includes talented Grayson High School singer Nick Pallas, Loganville country singer Moriah Martin and the crowd-pleasing Atlanta-based Bright Water Band. Also performing will be the Gwinnett Community Band and the Northeast Community Choir.
' Things you might not know: This year marks the 34th anniversary of Lilburn Daze, which is sponsored by the Lilburn Woman's Club and the city of Lilburn. Proceeds from the festival go toward scholarships, local organizations and Woman's Club programs.
