Dorothy Carrier Poore

Dorothy "Dottie" Carrier Poore, 70, a resident of Lilburn, Georgia since 1975, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. She was a native of Bristol, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Donald Dwight Carrier, Sr. and Gladys Marie Coalson Carrier. Survivors include her friend of twenty years, Mr. Thomas Waller of Lilburn, Georgia; her two sons, Thomas Christopher Poore of Fernandina, Florida and Norman E. Poore and his wife Tonya of Fort Mill, South Carolina; her two grandsons, Travis N. Poore and Preston E. Poore; her one granddaughter, Morgan H. Poore; her two brothers, Donald D. Carrier of Bluff City, Tennessee and Larry A. Carrier of Harleysville, Pennsylvania; her sister, Shirley Carrier Taylor and her husband M.B. of Bluff City, Tennessee; her three nephews, Dr. Steven D. Taylor, James N. Taylor and Robert L. Carrier; her niece, Dona L. Kirkpatrick; her uncle, Rev. Wallace Carrier and his wife Ann of Nashville, Tennessee; and her aunt, Sarah Carrier of Silver Springs, Maryland. A memorial service time will be announced at a later date.
