Kelsea Martin was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Shannon Murray was 3-for-4 with six RBIs. Megan Little finished the night 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Falcons (14-8-3).
Parkview 10, Shiloh 1
SNELLVILLE - Kelley Croxton (15-10) pitched seven innings, gave up three hits, two walks and struck out 10 to help Parkview take a 10-1 win over Shiloh on Thursday in the Region 8-AAAAA tournament.
Summer Rose was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Jennifer Wormley was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Panthers (18-13-1).
GAC 7, Holy Innocents' 1
ATLANTA - Alex McDavid was 3-for-3 with a triple, single, RBI and three runs to help GAC top Holy Innocents' 7-1 on Thursday.
Reagan Page had a home run and two RBIs and totaled 1-for-3 for the night and Kelsey McDavid was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Kelsey McDavid (6-0) was also the winning pitching, giving up three hits and struck out six on the mound for GAC (26-1-1).
Wesleyan 3, Lovett 0
ATLANTA - Wesleyan's Paige Hamlin struck out six batters to shutout Lovett 3-0 in the first round of the Region 6-AA playoffs on Thursday.
At the plate, Hamlin was 1-for-2 with a double and a walk and Whitney Warren was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Erin Hall was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs and Logan Morris was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a single for the Wolves (10-15).
Providence 3, Fellowship 0
ROSWELL - Providence shutout Fellowship 3-0 and improved its record to 16-10-3 on Thursday.
Kylie Kleinschmidt (10-6) threw her second consecutive no-hitter and broke Providence's strikeout record after striking out 15 in seven innings.
Caitlin McDowell had two RBIs and a single and Cassi Flowers was 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a stolen base.
Hebron 6, Towns County 0
DACULA - Victoria Sink pitched a complete game and gave up three hits and one walk and struck out 16 batters to help Hebron shutout Towns County 6-0 on senior night on Thursday.
Rachael Duval had a home run and a single and Britt Pecht had a hit and an RBI. Megan Dixon finished the night with a triple, two walks and two runs and Megan Griffin had a single, triple and two RBIs for the Lions (11-9, 8-3).
Brookwood wins two
NORCROSS - Brookwood beat Duluth 25-10, 25-14 and Buford 25-14, 25-19 on Thursday night.
Brandi Byers had seven aces and 11 kills and Natlie Echols had 28 assists for Brookwood.
Lissie Terry added 10 digs for Brookwood as the Broncos improved their region record to 6-0 in 8-AAAAA and 23-8 for the season.
Parkview tops two
NORCROSS - Parkview won over Berkmar 22-25, 25-22, 25-18 and Collins Hill 25-16, 23-25, 25-11 at the Gwinnett County tournament on Thursday.
The Panthers improved to 21-8 overall.
NORCROSS - Central fell to Wesleyan 10-25, 16-25, but beat Peachtree Ridge 25-23, 25-23 at the Gwinnett County tournament on Thursday.
Mill Creek beats two
NORCROSS - Mill Creek topped Peachtree Ridge 25-21, 25-21 and South Gwinnett 25-12, 25-13 on Thursday at the Gwinnett County tournament.
Olivia Day contributed 12 aces and 15 kills and Ashley Jackson had 23 assists. Moneisha Simmons added five kills for Mill Creek as it improves to 19-13 for the year.
NORCROSS - Dacula won its first match against Shiloh 25-23, 25-16 but lost to GAC 25-14, 23-25, 18-25 at the Gwinnett County tournament on Thursday night.
Madison Kubal had 14 digs and eight kills and Courtney Weider had 15 digs. Eve Machovec contributed 11 kills and Abbie Daniel added 16 kills. Rose Corneille had 29 assists for Dacula as it improved to 22-5 and 5-0 in area.
Apalachee beats two
WINDER - Apalachee topped Hart County 25-14, 15-25, 25-18 and beat Jackson County 25-12, 27-25 on Thursday night.
Mary Beck finished the night with 37 kills and seven aces and Ashley Keith totaled 38 assists.
Jamie Whatley contributed four aces and Apalachee improved to 13-11 overall and 2-1 in area.
GAC wins two
NORCROSS - GAC topped North Gwinnett 25-19, 22-25, 25-17 and Dacula 14-25, 25-23, 25-18 on Thursday night at the Gwinnett County Championship.
Amanda Komisarow had 23 kills and 17 digs and Anjelica Wilcox contributed 18 kills and 31⁄2 blocks for GAC. Alex Shelton had 51 assists and 19 digs as the Spartans improved to 26-7.
Providence wins two
NORCROSS - Providence beat Collins Hill 22-25, 25-22, 25-16 and topped Berkmar 25-19, 27-25 on Thursday.
Caroline Adams had six kills and eight blocks for Providence as it improved to 16-15.
Hebron loses two
ROSWELL - Hebron lost to Fellowship Christian 24-26, 16-25 and to Our Lady of Mercy 24-26, 22-25 on Thursday night.
Victoria Whitley had six kills and Elise Murray contributed seven kills. Jenny Conner had 11 assists and Jenna Falletta had five assists. Hebron falls to 13-19 overall.
Providence boys win in Athens
ATHENS - The Providence boys finished first, while the girls came in second place at Athens Academy on Thursday.
Elias Crist finished third with a total time of 18 minutes, 21 seconds. Eric Mills finished seventh and Jonathan Prage finished 10th for Providence.
For the girls Mary Katherine Mills finished sixth with a total of 22:24. Jordan Kelly finished eighth and Allison Prage came in 10th.
