Armed pair rob man of wallet

NORCROSS - A resident of Conifer Crossing Apartments was reportedly robbed at gunpoint about 9:50 p.m. Monday.

The victim had just returned home and was taking items to his apartment while talking on a cell phone. The man told police that a black teenage boy approached him and asked to use the phone. Then, another man came up from behind and put a gun in the victim's back, demanding his wallet, cell phone and everything he had. The man complied.

The teenager is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. His accomplice is described as a very skinny black man in his early 20s standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Home invaders take cash, jewelry

DULUTH - The residents of an apartment in Gwinnett Square Apartments in Duluth were the targets of an armed home invasion Monday.

About 11 p.m., one of the residents told police he heard a key turning in the lock and thought it was a roommate coming home. The door opened and three black men and one Hispanic man burst in brandishing three pistols and a pump action shotgun, police reports state.

The robbers took cash, cell phones, jewelry and electronics.

Thieves smash car windows

DULUTH - Robbers entered four vehicles at the Gables Apartments on Wood Iron Drive in Duluth during the early morning hours Tuesday.

Thieves gained entry by smashing the vehicles' windows. Two owners lost iPods.
