WINDER - Barrow County voters can hear local candidates respond to the questions they want answered.
Candidates for local city offices will gather in a public forum hosted by the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Colleen O. Williams Theater in Winder. Chamber officials are asking any voters to submit questions they want the candidates to answer. Those questions must pertain to elected office-related topics. Questions will be taken until 4 p.m. Friday and can be faxed to 770-867-6366, e-mailed to mwalker@barrowchamber.com or dropped off at the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, 6 Porter St., Winder in the historic train depot. A panel of local business leaders will ask the questions while Debbie Burgamy, publisher of the Barrow County News, moderates the session.
