Paul Caron died on Saturday, September 29, 2007. He was a loved husband, father and friend. He touched many lives in a meaningful way. Paul was a talented baseball player growing up. He played professional baseball for a number of years before settling into a career in technology. He was a long time employee of, The St. Paul Insurance companies in their technology department. Paul was extremely active in the community and the lives of his family. He coached many years in the Norcross youth baseball program. He shared his knowledge and love of the game with the kids. He was well known for his cup of Quick Trip coffee in his hand making quick witted comments. He had a gruff old school facade that quickly melted into a humorous comment that always had valuable advice imbedded in it. While he loved baseball, his real love was for the young men he was helping not only how to play a game, but how to successfully approach life. He would stop with the cup of coffee in his hands and encourage the boys to give their best in all they do. He noted that if they gave their best, that is all he asked. Each day, he gave his best to his family, his teams and his friends. Services will be held at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, beginning at 3:30 pm.
