Prosecutor plans to introduce prior violations against T.I.

ATLANTA - T.I., who faces federal weapons charges, has previously violated the law by possessing firearms and a silencer while a convicted felon, a federal prosecutor said in a document filed Monday.

The 27-year-old rapper was arrested Oct. 13, just blocks away and hours before he was to headline the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was allegedly trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers.

Harris is charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He was released on bond but is under house arrest.

LONDON - Another day, another photographic flame for Paul McCartney?

Rosanna Arquette is the latest woman to be photographed with the 65-year-old ex-Beatle. The News of the World published pictures of McCartney and the 48-year-old actress walking together outside of what it said was McCartney's north London home.

The encounter took place last week, the British tabloid said - only a month after McCartney was photographed embracing Nancy Shevell, a New Jersey trucking heiress and member of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority board.

Show follows rappers rallying for equality

NEW YORK - Salt-N-Pepa are still pushing it.

Cheryl 'Salt' James was determined to march for racial equality in Jena, La., last September, whether or not cameras from her VH1 reality series, 'The Salt-N-Pepa Show,' followed her.

'I just felt like as a mom, I wanted to be there,' James told The Associated Press in a recent phone interview.

'The Salt-N-Pepa Show' documents the reunion of James and her former partner, Sandy 'Pepa' Denton. James left the groundbreaking female rap group in 2002.
