Danielle Ellis was hired prior to this hockey season as the Gwinnett Gladiators' athletic trainer following three years of involvement with the ECHL franchise. She was the assistant athletic trainer for two years while employed full time with NovaCare. Ellis, a graduate of North Georgia College and State University, started as an intern with the team during the 2004-05 season.
