DACULA - Anjelica Wilcox's 32 points were nearly half of GAC's scoring as the Spartans beat Dacula 74-66 in the Dacula Thanksgiving Tournament on Tuesday.
Briana Jordan added 15 points and five assists for GAC (2-0), the defending Class AA state champs. Chaney Means scored 10 points and had nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Eve Machovec led Dacula with 21 points and eight rebounds in the loss, while Breanna Overby added 17 for the Falcons (1-1).
Milton 53, Collins Hill 40
ALPHARETTA - The three-time defending state champion Collins Hill girls lost their first game to a Georgia opponent since the 2004 state finals, falling to Milton 53-40 on Tuesday night.
The Eagles (1-1) were led by Marissa Rimbert's eight points and 11 rebounds and Jazmin Walker's seven points, six rebounds and four assists. Erin Gray added seven points and two blocks and Nikki Urbizo had five points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Berkmar 57, Lithia Springs 44
SUWANEE - Mariah Richardson scored 25 points to lead Berkmar to a 57-44 victory over Lithia Springs on Tuesday at the Bulldog Classic.
Gabby Harvey added 11 points as the Patriots improved to 3-0.
Duluth 59, Grayson 46
DACULA - Daphne Adebayo's 19 points helped Duluth top Grayson 59-46 on Tuesday at the Dacula Thanksgiving Tournament.
Alex Phillips scored 13 and Mykala Walker added 10 for the Wildcats (1-1).
Taren White's game-high 23 was not enough for Grayson (0-2).
Norcross 69, Tri Cities 31
DACULA - Tiffany Clarke scored 18 points and pulled down 17 rebounds as Norcross beat Tri Cities 69-31 in the Dacula Thanksgiving Tournament on Tuesday.
Mary Anne Sims scored 12 points and Nicole Jones scored 12 while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out five assists for Norcross (1-1).
South Gwinnett 46, Ringgold 22
RINGGOLD - South Gwinnett's Damirrea Martin led all scorers with 13 points and the the Comets cruised to a 46-22 victory over Riggold on Tuesday.
Brittany Brooks added six points for the Comets (1-0) and Tiffany Gent had six points for Ringgold.
North Gwinnett 47, Chattahoochee 40
SUWANEE - North Gwinnett defeated Chattahoochee 47-40 on Tuesday in the Bulldogs Classic.
Stefanie Schuck led the Bulldogs (2-1) with 10 points and Abby Slocumb scored 11 points.
Hebron 44, Woody Gap 11
WOODY GAP - Hebron picked up its first win of the year Tuesday, beating Woody Gap 44-11.
Britt Pecht led Hebron with 13 points and six steals, while Rachael Duval added 12 points and Olivia Clark scored five. Victoria Whitley grabbed 10 rebounds in the win for Hebron (1-1).
Collins Hill 65, Milton 61
MILTON - Jeremy Olsen notched a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Collins Hill over Milton 65-61 Tuesday.
Andrew Anderson led the the Eagles (2-0) with 18 points and Saah Nimley scored 13 to go with his five assists.
Julian Royal scored 17 for Milton.
M.L. King 72, North Gwinnett 57
SUWANEE - M.L. King defeated North Gwinnett 72-57 in the Bulldog Classic on Tuesday.
Ebuka Anyaroah led the Bulldogs with 18 points.
GAC 73, Grayson 54
DACULA - Taylor Metzger scored 26 points to lead Greater Atlanta Christian to a 73-54 win over Grayson at the Dacula Shooout.
Trent Wiedeman had 12 points and Brent Johnson had 10 points for the Spartans (2-0).
Quarterus Smith scored 21 points for Grayson and Ben Loudermilk had 13 points.
Hebron 68, Woody Gap 31
WOODY GAP - Hebron jumped out to a 26-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. The Lions defeated Woody Gap 68-31 on Tuesday.
James Floyd led the Lions (1-1) offense with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists. Lance Dutton had 11 points and four rebounds and Tim Gordon added six points, eight steals and nine assists.
