Emily Dawn Cole and Alex Arthur Spencer were married Sept. 15 at Chapel of Sky Valley in Dillard.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Pam Cole of Buford. She is a 2000 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. She is a 2006 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in education. She is employed by Eagles Landing High School in Henry County. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Aquinas High School in Augusta. He is a 2006 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed by Quality Recording Solutions as a regional account manager. Mindy Cole of Buford, sister of the bride, served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Spencer of Augusta, Jennifer Whitmire of Hartwell, Molly Schmidt of Covington and Stephanie Hulsey of Atlanta. Daniel Scholar of Augusta served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Spencer and Anthony Spencer of Augusta, brothers of the groom, Winton Connell of Augusta, and Ranjit Singh of Conyers. After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple now resides in Stockbridge.More like this story
