LILBURN - A Lilburn man remained in critical condition Tuesday after he was shot during a robbery at an apartment complex.
The victim was walking to his car at an apartment complex on Jodeco Circle off Burns Road when three Hispanic men robbed him, then shot him in the upper abdomen, Lilburn police Det. Matt Lake said. Investigators say the shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Monday. Lake said the three assailants were seen driving a red sport utility vehicle that had been lowered. Police did not release the victim's name Tuesday. Lake said the man was shot with a handgun at least once. "We believe it was a robbery," Lake said. "None of the suspects knew each other."More like this story
