Gwinnett Daily Post
LAWRENCEVILLE - A better tomorrow begins today.
That's the new tagline for Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, thought up by the environmental specialist at the county school district.
Barbi Ibele works for the Gwinnett County Public Schools' Environmental Services Department. She received an engraved iPod loaded with songs like Jack Johnson's "The 3 R's."
According to a press release, Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful chose the tagline because it can relate to any quality of life issue including litter, graffiti, recycling and garbage.
"I've always felt that what we do today shapes our tomorrow," Ibele said in a release.
Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful Director Connie Wiggins said the new tagline fits the organization as it meets new challenges and quality of life issues. It will encourage county residents to take action today that will make a better tomorrow for everyone, she said.
