SNELLVILLE - A Snellville couple is wanted in connection with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to arrest warrants filed this week.
Warrants state Stacy Lynn Mitchell, 38, and Thurman Travis Mitchell, 40, both of 3169 Larkspur Circle, "knowingly and willfully encouraged, caused, abetted, connived or aided" Aaron William Koepke, 17, in committing statutory rape. The 17-year-old allegedly had sex with the Mitchells' 15-year-old female relative at their Snellville home sometime between Jan. 1, 2004, and Nov. 6 of this year. Warrants were also filed for Koepke's arrest. He is wanted on charges of statutory rape and has not been arrested, according to jail records. Snellville police, who filed the warrants, were not available Friday for comment about the alleged incident. Stacy Lynn Mitchell was arrested Friday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She remains in jail with a $1,200 bond, according to jail records. Mitchell's husband, Thurman Travis Mitchell, remains at large.More like this story
