Police on lookout for bank robber

DULUTH - Police are looking for a man responsible for a number of bank robberies in metro Atlanta including Gwinnett County.

Duluth Police Department Capt. Mark Hunter said authorities are on the lookout for a blond haired white man who reportedly robbed the SunTrust Bank inside the Kroger at 3455 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. on Tuesday night.

"He presented a note and indicated he was armed but no weapon was ever seen," Hunter said.

The man was dressed in blue jeans, a button down shirt and a sports coat when he entered the bank shortly after 6 p.m.

Authorities believe the man is responsible for similar bank robberies in Sandy Springs on Oct. 24 and Stockbridge on Oct. 29.
