Frank Morefield Olinger, Sr., age 82 of Winder, Georgia, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lee Gibson and Rev. Marion Prather will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford with full Military Honors. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 1 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Olinger was born in Wabash, IN and lived in Winder, GA the past 6 years. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he earned a purple heart in the Battle of Iwo Jima, was formerly employed as a Salesman with True Value Hardware in Riverdale, GA and was of the Baptist faith.
