NORCROSS - A career fair will be held on Monday at the Georgia Department of Labor's Gwinnett Career Center in Norcross.
About 40 employers are expected to be hiring to fill current job openings and other employers will be discussing future employment opportunities with job seekers. Applicants are advised to bring plenty of resumes, be prepared to fill out company applications and be ready to interview for available openings. "This career fair is designed to bring employers and organizations in the Gwinnett County area together with job seekers who are looking for employment or career guidance," State Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond said in a press release. Companies expected to participate include: Atlanta Electrical Contractors, ATS Staffing, Charter Communications, Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Clarke County Sheriff's Office, Cobb County Police Department, Goodwill Industries, Gwinnett County Police Department, I-Tech Staff, Kroger, Lake Lanier Islands, McKesson, Toys 'R' Us, U.S. Marine Corps and USP Supply Chain Solutions.
