Rev. Finas A. Rooks, age 89, of Snellville, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2007 of congested heart failure. An inspiration to us all, he is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Michael Kerlik, III, age 47, of Sugar Hill, GA, and formerly of Akron, OH, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 23, 2007. He was a devoted husband and father and always made his family a priority. He loved his job and co-workers with H.H. Gregg Co. and his friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Kerlik and mother-in-law, Judy Bailey. Body pulled from park's lake

STONE MOUNTAIN - The body of a black woman, age 20 to 35, was pulled from the lake in Stone Mountain Park about 9 a.m. Monday.

A man fishing found the woman in about three to four feet of water near the campground, according to Christine Parker, spokeswoman for park police.

"She was found fully clothed and had no ID," Parker said.
