VanZandt of Claremont, Calif. He is a 1999 graduate of Shiloh High School. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of West Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in mass communications. He is employed by the Gwinnett Daily Post as a sports writer.

The wedding is planned for July 7 at Brookwood Baptist Church in Cumming.

He is a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received a degree in mathematics education. He is employed by Gwinnett County Schools as a high school math teacher and football coach.
