Mrs. Arah Lott, age 94, of Buford, GA, passed away on May 17, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lott, and sons, Edward Lott and Monroe Lott. Mrs. Lott was born on February 13, 1913 in Jackson County, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Buford with Dr. Kerry Harris officiating. The body will be placed in state at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA. She worked as an executive secretary for Lockheed until she was married. She raised her family in the Atlanta area before moving to Dacula. Mrs. Pogue was a well known spectator at Dacula Park watching her grandson play ball. She was also an avid Georgia Tech fan. Mrs. Pogue was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Emile Pogue, Jr. and she is survived by: Children: Tammie Jo Pogue, Spring, Texas, Burt Nelson Pogue, Nashville, TN, Christopher Ira & Lynn Pogue, Dacula, Candace & Rodney Hayes, Bogart; Brother: Rex Nelson, Aberdeen, SD; Grandson: Matthew Christopher Pogue and Granddaughter: Sarah Lucille Hayes. Norris Lamar Davis, age 80, of Tucker, died Thursday, May 17, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christine Hester Davis; daughters, Connie Davis of Sarasota, FL and Donna Davis Griffin and her husband, Mark of Chickamauga, GA; granddaughter, Dr. Dayna Diaz and her husband, Alex Volodarsky and great grandson, Justin of Dunwoody, GA; niece, Linda Gober Loveless of Lawrenceville, GA; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and two sisters. Mr. Davis worked at GM - Doraville for 42 years and for Sears Roebuck and Co. for 16 years. He was a Master Mason for more than 50 years as a member of Tucker Masonic Lodge #42 F&AM and he was a member of Tucker First United Methodist Church.
