NORCROSS - A job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Norcross First United Methodist Church on Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross.
The event is being sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor and the Norcross Cooperative Ministry. There will be about 50 employers seeking to fill job openings at the job fair. Other employers will be discussing future opportunities with attendees and several organizations will be providing job seekers educational and other resources. Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. More than 40 employers and 700 applicants attended the event last year, according to a Department of Labor press release.
